Late last century it appeared as if the time of the classic mechanical watch had passed. Battery powered Quarts watches were released on the market and these were cheap to produce and accurate. It seemed very likely that the mechanical watch would no longer be center stage. That did, however, not turn out to be the case. Cheap mass production did not appeal to everyone and the mechanical watches became important as luxury items. Recently sales of high quality watches have soared; demanding customers want watches that do not only serve the purpose of measuring time, but are also a valuable jewellery with technology that builds on tradition from previous generations.

Our collection consists of time pieces that show attention to detail from every angle, leaving no stone unturned in the strive for perfection. To be able to make watches that can stand the scrutiny of the most discriminating of clientele the manufacturer has to be an enthusiast himself and his own hardest critic but at the same time passionate about his creations and designs.

Since the companies official creation in 2005 we have witnessed, births, marriages and said last farewell to friends and family members, all part of the perpetual circle of life. This passing of time has been measured by our watches on the wrists of people in all continents around the world. Our watches have been presented at weddings, graduations, retirement parties and other important milestones in peoples life´s making us humble and proud that JS Watch co. is chosen for those special occasions.

Our concept that four individuals can come together and make their passion a reality, breathing life to their designs and inspiring people not just to wear watches to measure time, but to experience it and enjoy the notion of becoming part of a distinguished club powering the perpetual motors of our watches with their every move for generations to come.

Timepieces from JS Watch co. Reykjavik are made with care and respect for those traditions, using only high quality components and classic techniques. We say that we produce our watches 50 years ago when workmanship and personal attention of the watchmaker was the standard in the high end wristwatch trade.
